Flyer's Skiff

This is a great Provincetown tradition -- a 16', flat-bottomed open wooden boat with bench seating. Many of these sturdy boats were built right here at Flyer's Boatyard by skilled, time-served boatbuilders. These boats are equipped with 8hp engines, simply operated by sitting in the back and steering with a hand-grip tiller.

If you're a speed freak, this isn't the boat for you, but if you want a leisurely, safe trip around the harbor, you can't do better. There's plenty of room inside for at least four adults, and the flat bottom makes it easy to bring ashore for picnics at secluded Long Point lighthouse or other quiet beaches around the harbor.

Flyer's BayBoats

These are a favorite with our keen fishermen and women, but popular too for sightseeing and picnicking. Made of fiberglass, the BayBoats are a little roomier than our skiffs and are driven by a larger, more powerful 10hp four-stroke engine -- again tiller steered. It'll give you more room to spread out your fishing tackle or coolers, and a bit more speed to move around and try different fishing spots in the harbor.

Mid-range Speedboats

We have a couple of different styles in this 30hp-engine range. The very popular 13' fiberglass Boston Whaler or similar McKee Craft is a key start with a small side consul and steering wheel. The boats have bench seating and a fairly low freeboard. This makes them easy to anchor and get in and out of to swim. A large bow deck area is good for laying out on. Ideal for a couple wanting a romantic fun time and still able to fly around the harbor at a good rate of knots. But also great for parties with a couple of kids.

Another 30hp we offer is a center consul with backrest seating and a steering wheel. This boat is going to be dryer if it gets a little choppy and also comes with a fold-up/fold down canvas bimini top to protect your party from the sun. Ideal for parties of two to five.

Top of the Line Speedboats

We have a few styles of faster boats for the enthusiast. Powered by state-of-the-art 50hp engines, these boats will zip you around the harbor at planing speeds that'll make you feel the wind in your hair! They are all center or side consul with backrest seating, and have high freeboard to protect you from waves or wake. They are ideal for parties of up to six who just want to blast around the harbor , but equally easy to anchor for a picnic at Long Point.

The Seaway-style Etech--powered craft is also popular with our fishing parties as they have plenty of space for gear and self-baling hulls for washdown. Our vessel Aidan, is a slightly smaller hull and is equipped with an optional up/down bimini top for protection from the sun -- best for groups of four to six.
